DuxCraft Digital fabrication

Who we are

A bunch of teenagers, two machines, and plenty of ideas

We are a group of teenagers who wanted to make things instead of buying them. Not because it is cheaper, but because watching an object come out of a machine you set up yourself is a feeling you do not forget.

We started with a 3D printer and a lot of failed attempts. Parts that came unstuck, supports impossible to remove, files redone ten times over. Then a laser machine arrived, and with it another way of working with material.

Today we want to share that. Not to keep the machines to ourselves, but to show others that digital fabrication is not reserved for engineers. If you have an idea, come and tell us: we will work out together how to make it real.

Why we exist

What we stand for

An association is not a manufacturing service. Here is what drives us.

Discover

Letting people get a real feel for 3D printing and laser cutting, beyond sped-up videos.

Learn

Understanding why a part breaks, why one setting changes everything. You learn by failing, then starting again.

Share

Passing on what we have worked out. Our files, our settings, our mistakes: telling the story saves others time.

Make it accessible

These tools are expensive and intimidating. Our job is to lower the step so others can climb up.

Our equipment

The workshop machines

Building layer by layer

3D printing

A plastic filament is melted and laid down layer by layer until the object is formed. It is the ideal technique for three-dimensional shapes, hollow parts and prototypes.

Drawing into the material

Laser engraving and cutting

A laser beam burns the surface to engrave, or goes through the material to cut. The result is crisp, precise, and perfect for anything flat.
