Our two machines

How we make things

Two very different techniques, each good at something. Here is what they can do, in plain words.

Building layer by layer

3D printing

A plastic filament is melted and laid down layer by layer until the object is formed. It is the ideal technique for three-dimensional shapes, hollow parts and prototypes.

In practice: you describe your object, we model it or start from an existing file, and the machine builds it over a few hours. The bigger the object, the longer it takes. Very thin or overhanging shapes need supports that we then remove by hand.

What it cannot do: The deposited plastic leaves layer lines visible up close. Very fine details and parts that must withstand heavy loads need to be assessed case by case.

Drawing into the material

Laser engraving and cutting

A laser beam burns the surface to engrave, or goes through the material to cut. The result is crisp, precise, and perfect for anything flat.

We start from a two-dimensional drawing. The machine can either mark the surface — text, a pattern, a logo — or cut out the whole shape. It is fast and very clean, but it only works on flat, compatible materials.

What it cannot do: Flat, compatible materials only. Some materials are forbidden because they release dangerous fumes: we always check before accepting.

A custom request, step by step

How it works

Sending a request commits you to nothing and triggers no payment. It is the start of a conversation.

You tell us your idea

A form, a few sentences. No drawing or technical vocabulary needed: describe the object as you picture it.

We look into whether it is feasible

We check whether our machines can do it, and come back to you with our questions. Sometimes we suggest another approach.

If the project calls for it, we prototype

A first attempt to confirm the shape and dimensions. This step depends on the project: it is neither automatic nor systematic.

Photo and quote by email

You receive an image of the result and the matching price. You then decide, freely.

Making it and handing it over

Once you agree, we start production and arrange together how to get the object to you.

Who we are

A bunch of teenagers, two machines, and plenty of ideas

We are a group of teenagers who wanted to make things instead of buying them. Not because it is cheaper, but because watching an object come out of a machine you set up yourself is a feeling you do not forget.

We started with a 3D printer and a lot of failed attempts. Parts that came unstuck, supports impossible to remove, files redone ten times over. Then a laser machine arrived, and with it another way of working with material.
